KILABEN BAY

This home was transformed into an entertainer’s retreat, designed to maximise connection between indoor living spaces and the surrounding landscape.

A dramatic double-height living space forms the heart of the home, anchored by a striking face brick feature wall that introduces warmth and texture. Expansive glazing and open-plan living areas strengthen the relationship between the kitchen, dining and outdoor entertaining zones.

The result is a home that balances architectural presence with relaxed, functional living, creating an environment perfectly suited to both everyday family life and large-scale entertaining.

This project is a 2025 HIA Hunter Region Finalist in the Renovation / Addition Project - $500,000 to $750,000 - category, acknowledging the level of design, detail and craftsmanship brought to life at Kilaben Bay.
